Contract reporting
The reporting dashboard shows a live overview of your contract portfolio. You can see totals, annual value, upcoming renewals and top vendors in one view. Apply filters to break the data down by contract type, status, counterparty or timeframe, then share the exact view with stakeholders or download it as a PDF.
What you see in the dashboard
At the top of the reporting page there are four headline numbers:
- Total contracts, which shows how many contracts match your current filters
- Annual value, which is the combined yearly value of those contracts
- Upcoming renewals, which counts contracts with end dates approaching in the selected timeframe
- Top vendors, which lists the counterparties you do the most business with
These numbers update in real time as you add or remove filters.
Filtering your report
Use the filter panel to narrow the report to the contracts you care about.
Timeframe
Choose the period you want to report on:
- This quarter: contracts with activity in the current quarter
- This year: contracts with activity in the current calendar year
- All time: every contract in your portfolio
Switching the timeframe instantly updates the headline numbers and charts.
Status
See how your contracts are distributed across statuses such as active, expired, pending or draft. Click a status segment to filter the report to only that group.
Contract type
Break the report down by the contract types you have configured, for example service agreements, insurance policies or subscription services. Spot which categories represent the most value or the most renewal risk.
Counterparty
Search for a specific counterparty to see only contracts with that vendor or partner. The headline numbers, charts and list all update to reflect the filtered set. Review renewal exposure with a single vendor before a negotiation.
Sharing a report
When you have the exact filters you want, create a share link so colleagues can open the same view.
- Click Share link
- Copy the generated link
- Send it via Slack, email or any other channel
Who can open a share link?
Anyone with the link can see the report view, even if they do not normally have permission to view the underlying contracts in Contracko. Share links work well for management meetings, board updates or cross-functional reviews where stakeholders need visibility without full app access.
Revoking a share link
If you no longer want a shared view to be accessible:
- Open the report
- Click the Disable button next to the active share link
- The link stops working immediately
You can create a new share link at any time if you need to share the view again.
Exporting to PDF
Download the current report as a PDF to take into meetings or attach to emails.
- Apply the filters you want
- Click Download PDF
- The exported file contains the same headline numbers, charts and contract list that you see on screen
The PDF uses the active filter state, so the export always matches the report view.
Common use cases
Preparing for a board meeting. Filter to this year's renewals, download a PDF and attach it to your board pack. Stakeholders get a clean summary of upcoming commitments without logging into Contracko.
Vendor negotiations. Search for a single counterparty to see total annual value, contract history and renewal dates. Walk into the meeting with the exact numbers.
Cross-team visibility. Create a share link filtered to active contracts this quarter and send it to operations or finance. They review the data in their own time without requesting app access.
Compliance reviews. Filter to contracts with upcoming end dates, export the view and share it with your legal or compliance team for audit preparation.
Tips
Combine multiple filters. Narrow the report by timeframe, status and counterparty together to get highly focused views. For example, see only active service agreements with a specific vendor this year.
Clear filters to reset. Click the clear button to remove all filters and return to the full portfolio view.
Share links are static. If you create a share link and later change the filters, the shared view does not change automatically. Create a new link when you want to share an updated view.
