Send a contract for e-signature
Contracko has native e-signatures, so you can send a contract for signature, collect signatures from everyone involved, and keep the signed document in the same place you manage it. Once a contract is fully signed, Contracko ingests it and runs AI extraction automatically, so signing and ongoing management happen in one tool instead of two.
Create the signing request
Open Signatures and start a New signature request. Give the request a name (Contracko suggests one from the file, and you can change it, for example to "MSA" for a master subscription agreement), then upload the document. You can add one or more PDF or DOCX files; multiple files are combined into a single signing request, and you can drag to reorder them.
Add signers
On the Edit recipients step, add the people who need to sign. Start typing a name or email to pull in a teammate or saved contact, or enter the details manually. Use Add signer for more recipients.
Turn on Sequential signing if signers must sign in a set order, then drag them into the order you want. Leave it off if the order doesn't matter.
Use Message to signers to add an optional note that goes into the email invitation each signer receives, for example "Please find the service agreement for your signature."
Place fields and send
On the Place fields step, drag fields onto the document where each signer needs to act:
- Signature fields, one for each signer
- Date fields where you want the signing date recorded
Add a field for every signer, then send the request. Contracko emails each recipient when it's their turn to sign.
Track a signing request
The request overview shows recipient progress, who is next to sign, any expiry, and a running activity log of everything that has happened. From here you can:
- Manage access so the right people can see the contract. Team members on a signature envelope always get access, and you can add others, such as your operations team.
- Send a reminder, which emails the recipients who still need to sign.
- Void the request if it should no longer be signed.
What happens after signing
As soon as every signer has signed, Contracko ingests the completed document and runs AI extraction, the same as if you had uploaded or emailed the contract in yourself. The key data is pulled out and the contract is prepared for review, so a signed agreement lands in your repository fully populated and ready to track.
Signature quotas
Signatures are unlimited within the active contract limit of your plan. There is no separate per-signature charge.
Bring your own signing tool
If your team already runs on Adobe Sign, DocuSign, PandaDoc, or Dropbox Sign, you can keep using them and ingest the signed contract into Contracko through Zapier or the API. Native signing and bring-your-own both end the same way: the signed contract and its data sit in your repository. See all available integrations.
